Leaving your already injured QB in such a vulnerable situation seemed foolhardy to me. It's fortunate that he didn't get hurt even worse.

As far as the O-line, I've always thought the "Addazio is spread too thin" argument was a bit of an oversimplification but now I'm starting to wonder if it may be true. Pouncey might have been a great Guard but that doesn't mean he's "one of the best offensive lineman in America" who can just plug into any position and excel. The snaps have improved, but now I can't help but think that the guy is focusing too hard on snapping the ball instead of blocking the guy in front of him.

I'm curious to hear what you thought of the "Boos" from the stands, Heath. My friends in the student section said that the dive is now being referred to as the "boo play." I cringed, but at the same time could understand the frustration. Wonder what effect it'll have on the coaches/players/and blue chips that were in the stands watching the game. Interestingly, once the boos began the offensive plays got a lot more creative. The pass to Moore was huge, but it was the plays in the red zone that were actually refreshing. Even with the penalty the guys were able to get into the end zone with relative ease and had a great 2-point play call.

The fake FG may not have been what got LSU in position to score, but it was so obviously telegraphed that stopping it shouldn't have been a question. A safe formation would have destroyed that play, and I can't understand what we were thinking. Maybe our coaches just thought it was normal to call timeout before a kick and follow through with it anyway (see: 2006 SECCG vs Arkansas). I think that play stunned our guys contributed to them giving up the big pass on the next snap.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07772268115532786847noreply@blogger.com
