Work gets in the way
I've got a big project I'm working on for my radio station, and there's just not enough time to put up a regular post today. If you're flying somewhere, I hope you have a pilot as good as the guy who successfully landed that US Airways flight in the Hudson without killing anyone. Well news just came down the pike that they fired Chucky and Allen. I'm sure that will brighten your weekend up! That is, of course, until you start to think about the tremendous amount of work it's going to take to get things back in order over the next few years. It seems like curious timing, leaking the announcement on a Friday evening just before a weekend of playoff games that are sure to bury the story. I wonder if they've already spoken with someone who has agreed to take over. Fool me once...
